Incorporating the initials of the lovely couple, Jess and Brandt, I designed this anchor logo to be used for the invitations, menus, and party favors for their nautical themed rehearsal dinner.

Based on a personal photograph of an orphaned girl, created not only as a memoir of a mission’s trip I took to Tanzania, but also as a symbol of the joyful spirit of the people there. (Acrylic on Canvas, 16 in x 20 in)

My goal in this piece was to discover some of the unique textures, colors and shapes found between the surface levels and deep, benthic zones of the ocean. By incorporating elements of design and abstraction, I created a book composed of 100 different examples which displayed the ocean in a way that did not merely document its common features, but rather, reflected its aesthetic beauty and unique characteristics
