The Sea

My goal in this piece was to discover some of the unique textures, colors and shapes found between the surface levels and deep, benthic zones of the ocean. By incorporating elements of design and abstraction, I created a book composed of 100 different examples which displayed the ocean in a way that did not merely document its common features, but rather, reflected its aesthetic beauty and unique characteristics
